Setup Fees For logos or straight-line copy

Deep etch and lasering on crystal: One time $65.00(v)

Lasering on Acrylic: $30.00(v)

Lasering on plates for wooden plaques: $30.00(v)

Resizing charge: $35.00(v) for the same art layout on more than one product in the same order

Any change in artwork requires full set-up/die charges.

Reorder
No set-up charge for an exact reorder if received within two years and it is identical in copy, layout and product.

Returns
No return shipments will be accepted without prior approval. Corporate award and other samples valued less than $25.00 net are not returnable. Items already engraved or customized are not returnable.

Cancellation Charges
All costs incurred prior to order cancellation will be invoiced. A 20% restocking charge will be applied for re-stocking items.

Production Time
Normal production time is approximately 5-12 working days.

Quality
Quality control standards are maintained on all items to provide appealing cost-effective crystal corporate awards. Due to inherent properties of glass, acrylic, marble, and wood, from time to time small imperfections may be evident that do not diminish the effectiveness or appeal of the product. Variations in materials, firing temperatures and glaze may result in variances in appearance, which are, and must be considered acceptable.

Our product line is subject to change. Please call customer service to confirm availability of the wood, resin, acrylic or crystal awards.

Art Information

Art Charges
First 30 minutes is FREE, hourly rate is in effect AFTER the first 30 minutes. Hourly rate: $62.50(v).

There will be an artwork charge for all art that is not production-ready and exceeds 30 minutes to correct.

Digital art is not necessarily production-ready. See the Art FAQ for clarification.

Photographs, photocopies, photostats, color layouts, halftones and letterhead are subject to additional artwork charges.

An estimate of the charges to make artwork production-ready will be provided prior to production.

Artwork Requirements
Below are descriptions of the formats we recommend when you are supplying artwork.

The standard method for supplying digital artwork is via e-mail. E-mail art to service@recognitioncafe.com

Artwork may also be supplied on a CDROM or flash drive.

Black and white photostats are not acceptable artwork. An art charge will be incurred if photostats are submitted.

Digital artwork is not necessarily production-ready. Consult the artwork specifications on our website for further information or contact a customer service specialist.
We accept art from the following programs: Adobe Illustrator CS, Photoshop CS, Corel Draw 12 and Quark 6.5. Also, Stuffit Deluxe, .sit, .zip and .sea files can be uncompressed. If you only have a jpg or gif please send it to us for review. It may be good enough.

Below are the art formatting requirements.

PC users:
a) Art must be saved in black and white vector line art mode
b) Convert all text to curve
c) Attach names of all fonts used in the art to the e-mail or cover sheet
d) Art charges will be incurred for font searching and matching
e) Save as an EPS file
MAC users:
a) Repeat a-c above
b) Check the “Append The Extension” box
c) Use the "EXPORT" or "SAVE AS" commands, and transfer the data as an EPS file for PC format

Art Proofs
Art proofs are provided when art has been altered. The first art proof is at no charge. All subsequent art proofs are $10.00(net). Art proofs are not provided for unaltered art. If requested, a $10.00(net) charge will be made. All art proofs are emailed.

Copy Changes
Etching and Lasering:

$20(v) per order for all copy changes to an existing layout, not to exceed 30 minutes of art time
$62.50(v) hourly art charge applies if more than 30 minutes is needed to make copy changes
Personalization
Personalization is a production charge. $6.25(v) per location, per item. A second location is $6.25(v). Charges for products returned for personalization are as follows: 1-5 pieces: $31.25(v) each; 6+ pieces: $12.50(v) each, plus art department layout time. All names must be received in an electronic format using Excel or Word.

Samples

Samples Pre-Production
A $43.75(v) charge in addition to the set-up charge, the cost of the item and shipping and handling. Allow one week for production after digital artwork is furnished.

Samples Random
End column price of the item plus shipping and handling. Credit will be issued for individual samples costing in excess of $25.00(net) and returned in perfect condition within 30 days. The credit will be less shipping and handling. We will request your shipper account for freight issued charges. All samples will be charged to your VISA/MasterCard and will be credited when samples are returned in good condition.

Spec Samples
A $43.75(v) charge in addition to the set-up charge, the cost of the item and shipping and handling. If an order results from the sample, the set-up charge will be credited to the order. Allow one week for production after digital ready artwork is furnished.

Optional Services

Personalization
Personalization is a production charge. $6.25(v) per location, per item. A second location is $6.25(v). Charges for products returned for personalization are as follows: 1-5 pieces: $31.25(v) each; 6+ pieces: $12.50(v) each, plus art department layout time. All names must be received in an electronic format using Excel or Word.

Colorfill
See the colorfill palette for available colors and additional information. Available for flat crystal awards only. The charge is $7.00(v) per piece, per color, per location. Multiple/complex designs requiring additional labor and art modifications will be subject to extra charges. Add two working days to normal lead-time. View the Color Selection Chart.

Optional Etching Charges
Optional etch charges for second location and blank priced products will vary depending on the product. Call a customer service specialist, or see optional charges for more information. Set-up charges will apply.

Gift Enclosures
Cards, candy, and corporate gift enclosures can be arranged to be included with your crystal award shipment. Call a customer service specialist for pricing and details.

Optional Plates Charge
Most plates shown in the catalog are optional and are an extra charge.

1) Up to 3 square inches: $3.00(v)
2) 3-5 square inches: $4.00(v)
3) Over 5 square inches - add: $.45(v) per sq. inch

Release Programs
Entire program will be billed with original order. $31.25(v) charge per release, plus all additional production costs required to complete the products for each release. All release shipments must be completed within a twelve-month period. All unreleased product will be shipped after twelve months.

Shipping

Shipping & Handling
F.O.B. Maryland or Minnesota depending upon where the order is produced. The standard ship method is via UPS Ground, FedEx Express Saver or motor freight, depending on weight and destination. Freight charges plus 10% will be added to the invoice. To assure safe delivery, all shipments require over packing. A handling charge of $5.00(net) per master carton will be added to the freight charge. All shipments are subject to dimensional weight charges. All third party shipments require the bill to address for the shipper’s account being billed.

Claims
F.O.B. Minnesota or Maryland, depending upon where the order is produced. Merchandise is shipped at buyer’s risk, with title passing at F.O.B. point. Claims for breakage and delays must be made against carrier. You must make all claims for orders shipped under your carrier account. We are not responsible to file claims for shipments made under your account. For orders shipped under the our account, we must make claims on your behalf within 10 days of receipt of merchandise. Valid claims must be accompanied with original shipping cartons, packaging material and damaged items. UPS claims require us to file on your behalf within 10 days.

Rush Charges
The minimum rush charge is 30%, when order is needed in less than 7 working days from receipt of production-ready artwork.
